DT1 Foam Filter for Billet Filters found in Large Scale R/C cars and trucks.
DT1 has teamed up with TGN to bring an exclusive line of foam filters to the Large Scale Industry. DT1 has quickly become the filter of choice by many profesional teams in all types of motor sports. Including the likes of James Stewart and many others. Dyno tests have show superior performance over other brands of foam filters and most importantly they run cleaner.
One great feature to point out with all the DT1 filters is that the final foam inside the filters is a bright yellow color, so you can be proof positive that the filter is working. See insert photo above.
This design was made specificly for the aftermarket billet filters found with different names on them manufactured by ADA. They are used on the HPI baja 5b, SS, 5t, 5sc as well as many other large scale cars and trucks.
When TGN aproached DT1 we asked them to make the filter as larger in diameter than the stock foam. We know the stock foams are a little loose so we wanted to correct that and and make sure there is no open area for dirt to get in the engine.
Come with 3 layers of protection for high flow but ultra filtration.
